Coach Beam High School Coach Grant

It's important to continue to encourage coaches who follow Coach Beam’s ethos of treating players like family, helping develop not just great players but great all around people, creating a safe place for student athletes to thrive, and being a coach that your players know they call on any time they need. 

Costs in the Bay Area can make it hard for people to commit themselves to this important work, and have the resources they need to support their players. We plan to launch an annual grant that will provide a stipend award to a coach and a matching grant to their sport program to recognize their hard work. 

Requirements:

• Coaching at a high school in Alameda or Contra Costa counties

• High school has at least xx% of students qualify for free lunch

• At least 3 years of coaching experience 

• Nominated by at least 3 different people, one of which must be a current player
