This award recognizes high school coaches who go beyond the game - those who treat their players like family, build character, and create safe, supportive spaces where student-athletes can truly thrive.

Coach Beam dedicated his life to uplifting others through sport. This award ensures his legacy lives on - through coaches who lead with compassion, integrity and unwavering commitment to their players.
AWARD DETAILS
$7,500 Stipend awarded to two coached annually
$5,000 Program Grant to support each coach’s athletic program
Renewable for up to 3 years (based on continued good standing)
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
High School coaches in Alameda or Contra Costa Counties
Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience
Demonstrates a commitment to mentorship, leadership and community impact
